Nutwood Pubs is a small group of traditional pubs set in the heart of the countryside. Each pub reflects the character of its village, offering welcoming spaces where locals and visitors can come together to eat, drink and unwind. We focus on honest, freshly prepared food, well-chosen drinks and genuine, friendly service. From midweek catch-ups and Sunday roasts to village celebrations and special occasions, our pubs aim to be at the centre of community life.

Community Focus
Nutwood is proud to play an active role in our local communities. Throughout the year we support and host a number of community initiatives, including a Community Christmas Lunch, dementia-carers coffee mornings, community First Aid training sessions, and the annual Nutwood Toy Run. In addition, we regularly provide free venue and space hire for community groups and good causes. This is an important part of how we bring people together and support the villages and communities that we call home.
Nutwood Network is a community-based business networking group. It is dedicated to the empowerment of local entrepreneurs, offering support and guidance to individuals at various stages of their entrepreneurial journey, including existing business owners, as well as new or aspiring entrepreneurs. Nutwood Network is proud to be the friendliest and most welcoming local networking group. ​
Nutwood networking mornings are free to attend. The Woodman Inn, Nuthampstead at 8:30am on the first Friday of every month.
There is no charge to join.
Great Quality Food and Drinks
At Nutwood, we take pride in the drinks we serve. Our pubs support local breweries, distilleries and wine distributors, offering a well-chosen range of beers, wines and spirits at the bar.

Our kitchens are led by passionate chefs who design their own menus using produce from trusted suppliers and local producers, creating dishes they take real pride in preparing and serving to our guests.
Nutwood Club is our way of giving back to our customers.
Nutwood Club gives your the opportunity to collect points every time you enjoy a meal, drink or even a slice of cake at any Nutwood venue. Points can be redeemed against future purchases, so save up and enjoy! For more information please email club@nutwoodpubs.com. In the meantime, hold onto your receipts and we'll add points when your card is activated.

Our pubs are situated in beautiful rural locations, so we advise applicants to have access to private transportation. If you’re enthusiastic, hardworking, and ready to be part of a friendly and supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
Events for all occasions
Whether it’s a table for two, a relaxed drink after a dog walk, or a special birthday celebration with friends and family, our pubs are places for both everyday moments and life’s bigger occasions. From small gatherings and company meetings to larger celebrations or wakes, our spaces can accommodate events of up to 200 guests, depending on the pub. Our experienced events planners will make the process easy, get in touch to start planning!
