In order to further assist and develop the Group’s commitment to delivering tangible community benefits, Nutwood Pubs has formed a not-for-profit (limited by guarantee) Community Interest Company (‘CIC’).
Nutwood Community CIC* is dedicated to providing warm and welcoming spaces within Nutwood Pubs where the community can gather, socialise, and build connections. By actively supporting local events, businesses and initiatives, we ensure that our pubs serve as community hubs, encourage engagement and provide communal enrichment.
We're committed to uplifting the communities we serve. By actively supporting local causes, we work together to create positive change.
We offer warm and inviting spaces where people, young and old, can come together and connect.
We contribute to local organisations and good causes by facilitating events and providing relevant expertise and backing.
We actively seek to partner with local interest groups to ensure our pubs serve as community hubs.
Nutwood Community CIC March And April Progress Report
As spring unfolded, the Nutwood CIC continued its unwavering commitment to supporting local businesses and worthy causes. In March and April, we were proud to sponsor £850 worth of venue space, enabling local enterprises, small businesses and good causes to host workshops, meetings, and events that bring our community closer together. The Nutwood community also rallied behind Liam and Stefan's incredible abseil down Lister Hospital, raising a fantastic £483 in support of their efforts. Your generosity and encouragement exemplify the spirit of collaboration and kindness we strive to nurture. Looking ahead to May, we are excited to launch a collection in support off the Royal British Legion. Your contributions will go toward honouring and supporting those who have served in the Armed Forces-a cause that resonates deeply with our community values.
