Walk and Talk

Join knowledgeable guide, Ivor Warne, on one of our regular walk and talk events. Delve into the secrets of Nuthampstead airfield, uncovering stories of the brave GIs who served here and their invaluable contributions to the war effort.

Murder On The Dance Floor
It had to happen eventually ...
London, 1978 and disco fever is at its peak. Nightclub owner, Deenah, wants to cut some ties - but is she seems surrounded by controlling men and freeloading women and hires a private detective to help her out. Then, after hours, someone gets murdered in the club! Is the murder linked to the investigation? Was it disgruntled staff or dissatisfied punter? Can you follow the clues, coerce the answers from the suspects to solve the mystery.
Yoga with Carly

Join Carly for a 6-week beginners yoga course at the Woodman Inn, designed to help you move, stretch and unwind in a friendly, supportive environment.
These sessions are perfect for anyone new to yoga or looking to return to the basics. Each class will gently guide you through simple movements, breathing techniques, and relaxation to help improve flexibility, ease tension, and support overall wellbeing.
After class, you’re warmly invited to stay on for coffee and cake, available to purchase from the pub — a lovely chance to relax and connect.
£15 per session or £65 for 5 classes. Mats are available if needed.

CANCELLED
Susan ran her own consultancy for 25 years with a focus on educating the financial sector about money laundering. She now focuses on writing historical crime fiction with a financial twist. Her first series, set in 1820s London, follows magistrates’ constable Sam Plank, while her second series—set in Cambridge—features university constable Gregory Hardiman tackling crime in a more traditional setting. Susan is an engaging speaker who welcomes questions on her writing, Regency history, policing, research, self-publishing, and the world of financial crime.
