History
Step into a piece of history at The Woodman Inn, a charming establishment dating back to the 17th century. During World War II, it served as a favourite haunt for American airmen stationed at the Nuthampstead Airbase, Station 131.
Today, our pub proudly showcases a fascinating collection of photographs capturing that era, along with a large map pinpointing locations on the airbase, and a memorial in honour of the airmen just out front.
The Nuthampstead Airfield Museum is located just to the rear of our car park. To find out more, please visit www.nuthampsteadmuseum.com
They are open on the second and last Sunday of the month from April through October, 10pm - 4pm. Free Admission but donations are welcome.
