Talks and Walks
Talks and walks
The Woodman Talks take place once a month when an invited guest speaks on a specialised topic. From local history to aviation and true life crime, these often sell out, prebooking is essential. History walks around the historical airfield are conducted periodically during the warmer months.

At the The Woodman Inn, our chefs prepare seasonal dishes here in the pub using fresh, carefully selected ingredients. The menu brings together comforting pub classics and thoughtful flavours, complemented by a wine list chosen to pair beautifully with the food. During the week we also serve a selection of light bites, with weekend breakfasts and freshly made pizzas on Fridays adding something a little different. Be sure to take a look at our daily chef’s specials when you visit, and if you have any dietary requirements, please let us know in advance where possible or mention them to your server before ordering so we can accommodate you.
